I really enjoyed the assertive heroine. One of the shorter stories, I would love to see this expanded some day.

This is my favorite of the Fairy Tales series so far (I haven't been reading in order.) The world building here is wonderful. I loved the issues of being wingless in a culture of winged people. The inventor heroine is lovely as is her adopted father. The Cinderella elements are well down. A fun fast Science Fiction Romance! No Wings, No Problem She may not have wings like the rest of the family, but, she was very special. Fun short read that you will enjoy!

This book was not something I would normally read but because I needed an author that was local I went in search and found this gem. Annanya is wingless of her kind. She also isn’t what a female is suppose be like she loves to fix thing and is good at it. But she is tormented by others of her kind because she is different. She catches the eye of Prince Denaric a blue eyed wonder. He invites her to see him when she goes to Morcroft where she enters her invention in the exhibit. She catches the eye of Prince Denaric a blue eyed wonder. He invites her to see him when she goes to Morcroft where she enters her invention in the exhibit. The Prince is so smitten with Anna, he wants her to attend the ball she is so afraid of what others will think of her because she can’t fly. She had nothing to wear and 50 inventers came to her aid to make her beautiful for the event. I loved this. “Say my name, Annanya. I want to hear it from your lips.” Denaric is a randy fella, haha he sure doesn’t wait for what he wants he make it happen. ;) These two have such a connection and he doesn’t care that she is wingless he want her to be his end of story. As the story progress it’s a truly wonderful to him fight for what he wants. There is a lot going on in this short story but it flows so well you don’t feel like it is too much. I really enjoyed it.

I loved this even more then the first fairy tale. The heroine is kind of a mechanic/inventor and she is trying to build wings for those that don't have (the lower class in society). She is an orphan and does not know who her real parents are. She ends up meeting a handsome guy from the upper class and what do you know. Everything changes. I loved this. It's a short read so what do you have to lose? I loved this even more then the first fairy tale. It was a very short story and very predictable but even though the story was kind of predictable I still enjoyed it. I like the world building and how everything come to place. The idea of winged people and wingless people were amazing as well. I can't help but imagine the heroine as tinker bell with no wings. Fast paced but it was a Great story!! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I didn't much care for this one. The prince was awfully high-handed and Annanya was too meek. And the impression given was that he married her because she was a princess. He also didn't bother to talk to her before announcing their engagement. Not cool. I didn't much care for this one. Short story. 43 pages. At first I thought this cover was a bad picture of angel/alien, but it ended up making sense with the story. I just wish the story was a little longer :(
