    A game changer. This is a must read for anyone working with children from working class and/or poverty backgrounds. A stinging rebuke on the neoliberal education policies that have engulfed education - mostly in England- but have affected Wales too. It is a hefty book with over 40 different people from all walks of life contributing to how something radical has to be done to improve the lives of such children in an education system that gives them little chance. I have been inspired and fired up A game changer. This is a must read for anyone working with children from working class and/or poverty backgrounds. A stinging rebuke on the neoliberal education policies that have engulfed education - mostly in England- but have affected Wales too. It is a hefty book with over 40 different people from all walks of life contributing to how something radical has to be done to improve the lives of such children in an education system that gives them little chance. I have been inspired and fired up reading this book. It challenges the political narrative of the 'undeserving poor' and acts as a manifesto for action.
