Don't let the cover of the book lure you away! Yes, it's sexy but you've got to give this author a chance. Even though I'm not really sure how I feel about this book, it's a pretty good erotica romance for Tibby Armstrong's first debut. The love scenes were scorching hot, even if the hero was a jerk at first. The writing itself is vivid and very sexy, along with characters that will definitely capture your attention. Let's talk about our hero in this book, David the superstar musician and our heroine, Kyra the musician reporter. I did say he was a verocious lover didn't I? Wow, they definitely connect with one another fast! Well let's just say he's one of those tortured heroes with a traumatic past that ends up haunting him in the present. Not to mention I love how Kyra had the ability to change him. It was a really sweet ride all the way! Kyra herself, has had a tortured past when she was young, but I'll leave it at that because I don't want to give any spoilers away. I admit that at first, I did not sympathize with the characters right away because it seems like this book was going to be some kind of sex fest the whole way... but I was wrong. There were so many emotions festered up in this book that made me go wow. It was really much more than that. This was definitely one enjoyable, interesting, and extremely sexy read. It's for sure that I'll be looking forward to more of Miss Tibby Armstrong's books in the future. I'm giving this a five stars book for hot and steamy love scenes and for the electrifying spark between the two main characters. ;)

She's a music reporter. He's an enigmatic musician. Together they catch fire! The best erotic fiction that works on a fictional as well as a heat level works because the author makes us give a tinker's dam about the characters. But when an author manages to get you to care what happens outside of the bedroom (or kitchen, or...), then you have a keeper. The author has managed to create a work of fiction that just so happens to have a lot of steamy sex in it. Sheet Music manages that feat. Kyra is a music reporter. Her assignment is David Tallis, a musician whose life is as much of a puzzle and mystery as the more reclusive music stars in our world. Kyra did not get to her position by giving up, even with such a difficult prospect. David enjoys the paparazzi about as much as a root canal. Kyra has to up her game, and wind up under David's sheets in the process... What starts off as a seduction turns out to be a case of About Last Night, as David's Past, Kyra's Present, and their very different personalities collide. With plenty of sex in between, Armstrong manages to keep up the story while continuing to charge up the intense encounters between the two main characters. Armstrong doesn't make it easy for the two characters. Growth, and reflection are necessary for both Kyra and David before the denouement. I didn't think the subject matter would quite appeal to me--I consider myself somewhat musically stunted. Still, I was fascinated by the characters, the setting of London (which I have visited once) felt like the author had did her homework, and well, the encounters between David and Kyra are hot. What more can a reader ask? I look forward to enjoying more books from Ms. Armstrong.

I absolutely adored this book! More than being incredibly hot and steamy, the writing is incandescently beautiful and the characters are vivid. I love the backdrop of the rock and roll world, feeling the reality of it behind the scenes. It somehow made the entire story more potent. I don’t want to give too much away, but David is one of those haunted, tortured past heroes I adore. Plus, this book really captures the sparkle that rock stars and other truly famous celebrities have. As a reader I I absolutely adored this book! As a reader I really felt his beauty and dazzle, his talent, his enormous fame, yet he is still so real and vibrant and he’s flawed just like the rest of us. He has trust issues, which had me rooting for Kyra the whole way through. She’s a wonderful, self confident heroine with strong moral principles and you want her to be the one to be the one for David—more so, you want David to let her in because he really is in desperate need of someone to love. One of the most enjoyable books I’ve read in a while. Even after I finished reading the story stayed with me. I would HIGHLY recommend it. It’s one of those books I think will appeal to anyone who enjoys beautifully written erotic romance.

At first,I really thought that I was not going to enjoy this book because of the heroine. She is a music reporter who would do anything to get a story, aka skanky girl. That is what I was led to believe, she is anything but.I loved this story ,the characters, just about everything in this book. Now on to read David ,the hero's sister story.

I first discovered Tibby when I read No Apologies (if you haven't read that one yet, you really should - like, NOW), so when she told me she had another book out, I immediately jumped on the chance to read it. Unfortunately, because I had so much on my plate with school and family, I wasn't able to pick it up right away. And boy, am I ever kicking myself in the butt for that. I had some stuff come up that landed me in a spot where all I was able to do was read, so I grabbed for my iPad and pulled I first discovered Tibby when I read No Apologies (if you haven't read that one yet, you really should - like, NOW), so when she told me she had another book out, I immediately jumped on the chance to read it. I had some stuff come up that landed me in a spot where all I was able to do was read, so I grabbed for my iPad and pulled up Sheet Music. I was immediately engrossed in David and Kyra's world. I'm pretty sure I had Tibby gnawing off the ends of her fingers because I tend to live tweet as I read, but I was laughing, screaming, crying, and reaching for my ice water trying to cool off (heh) along with the characters. The one issue I did have with the book was that it felt like David fell for Kyra a little too quickly - but he didn't tell her he loved her. I think he was more intrigued by her, and that's what kept him coming back, despite all the perceived betrayals. I don't know if I've ever mentioned anything about my musical background before either here or on Twitter, but basically everyone on my father's side of my family is in the music business. And to see David playing music for a living (and Tibby getting so many of the details right - too many authors either glaze over it or write what we think it should be like and pray we don't notice and nothing irritates me more -- THANK YOU TIBBY! I love that you do your research!!) was like coming home for me. I imagined being in the booth with my dad or with my husband (yes, PK is a musician too... guess I couldn't stay away, lol). Even if I didn't love David because of everything else (he's sexy, smooth, caring... once you break past the wall of ice he's built around his heart), I'd be a puddle at his feet because he's a sexy-as-sin musician. Groupie? Me? Never. ;) I loved the fact that Kyra had a backbone. If there's one thing I hate, it's a weak-willed heroine, and she's not one of them. There were times I wanted to slap them both simply because I wanted them to talk to each other because I wanted them to be together, but it's because I cared about the characters and I just wanted them to be happy - which is the mark of a great author, IMO. Another great read by a fantastic author. I've had the opportunity to beta read the sequel, Undercover Lover (which was recently released) and stars David's little sister Jenny and his bodyguard Gunter. Also a must-read. Totally. Lena’s Review Kyra Martin is a good journalist, but no one believes in her. She has been following David Tallis’ career for a while and the man is a mystery to her. Something about him is worth writing a story about, but how far can she go with him? Kyra has issues that still haunt her but must set them aside no matter who gets hurt. She never expected that her assignment would lead to something more. It is something she has forgotten about ever finding in her life. As a journalist she knows love exist but scum-like journalists are ruining her faith of ever finding love. Can she believe in David when her secret comes out? David Tallis is a great singer who touches everyone’s heart with his deep sexy voice. Everyone wants an interview about him but he is a man who does not want to talk. David has secrets of his own that he wants no one to know. Yet one woman is determined to get her story and somehow she has gotten under his skin. He has known many women but none like Kyra Martin who like a bulldog gets what she wants no matter what the cost. Though what started out as game in his part leads to something he wasn’t looking for at all. Somehow with Kyra he feels alive something that he hasn’t felt for in a long time. Can he trust her with his long lost secret? Or is she just another report telling lies about him when she knows the real truth? This is a first I have read from Tibby Armstrong and won’t be the last. I loved that Tibby could bring a man, so distraught and alone like David, to be alive with a woman like Kyra that completes him in every way. I loved that David is a man who just wants to be alone in life, yet he craves Kyra. These two were hot together but also their interludes out of bed were great as well. You can tell they have an instant attraction to each other but Tibby showed us much more about their love for one another. This is definitely a great book and highly enjoyed it. Can’t wait for more of Tibby’s books to come! 4 Tea Cups!

Kyra and David are well-developed characters that undergo their individual struggles and ultimately reach their full potential. I was wary going in to this novel because I've had my fill of romance novels staring rock stars and reporters, but I went ahead with this novel anyway. I am extremely glad that I did. While the plot for this novel resembles other novels I've recently read, it still manages to be original. I gave Sheet Music by Tibby Armstrong 4 STARS. I strongly recommend this novel for adults who are looking for a hot and sexy adult romance novel. I think this novel is great for fans of Cherrie Lynn’s novels: Unleashed and Rock Me. -XOXO READING, EATING AND DREAMING

Just read the final version of this debut by Tibby Armstrong. While Erotica isn't my chosen genre, I'll read more of Armstrong's work. Like the sequel that is coming (yay!). Kyra and David are likable characters and very real. The sex is very hot. The story is page turner that I wanted to find outhow it ended but also didn't want to reach the last page. Read this pre-release. It changed some so I need to read the released version. Nonetheless, as the first novel of a new author, I was impressed. Someone to watch for.

I will say from the outset I don't read a lot of het erotic romance but this one was really hot and also a tender, very layered story. I enjoyed the characters' relationship build up and the intensity of their sexual encounters. Tibby has done her homework about the rock music industry and its reporters, because it all felt very real. Tibby really drew me into her story from the beginning. It's hard to believe this is her first book. She has great style and I loved her dialogue too. this was actually a good book....one might think it would all be about sex, but no it actually has a good story. i loved david and kyra's story though it was a lil bit predictable (i know the problem would arise with david's manager....it always do). i'm just sad that it's a lil bit short. i was hoping for a longer story. glad there would be a second book. in which david would make an appearance....yey!!! hope kyra does too!!!

Ok I read this in one sitting it starts off very hot and heavy and you start to think it's all about sex but then the story comes to life and it's a great story :) I loved that David and Kyra's relationship starts hot and heavy but then they both learn to open up and learn to trust and the relationship develops into something special . Great read .

3-3.5 stars When the coupling begins at 10 pgs or so in.... well, you know what you're in store for. While I enjoyed this book, everything happened too fast. The overall plot line was predictable - the only surprise was "whodunnit" (who ratted to the paparazzi). OK, so our hero's circumstances weren't completely predictable, let's just say that it wasn't a huge surprise - a nice twist, but not a jaw-dropper. We do get to see and uncover the layers to both of these people, but it's tough to really get to know them. Yes, I found myself caring about what happened, and enthralled with their story. Which is why I *like* the book and will likely give the 2nd book a look. But, I'm glad that this book wasn't very expensive - not in Kindle/ebook terms. I'd classify it as a novella - bigger than a short story, but waaaay short of an actual novel/book. I'm a fast reader, but this book took me all of... 2 hours (give or take a few minutes) to read.
