This series had endless intriguing plots and mysteries to keep me reading. However the poo,r diction, hadediting and dialogue left me wondering if the author and editor were illiterate. I will not be buying or reading Samuda again. This series has endless intriguing plots and characters to keep me reading. There's the drama and intrigue of who tried to have him killed trying to understand if Leah was in danger? He can't get her out of his mind for he knew she saved his life. She was attracted to him without knowing who he was. They finally meet and fall in love. This book was a little different from most interracial romance because of the suspense involved with his attempted murder and her kidnapping. The plot was pretty thin as you easily knew the villain. Putting the pieces together made it interesting. However, the terrible grammar and nonexistent editing made it difficult to keep reading. I'll read the other two since they came in a set. Otherwise I wouldn't keep reading the other books. The Scent of Christmas was nothing more than a short story. The mystery made absolutely no sense. It makes you wonder what was the purpose in this one. I'm glad it was part of a set that costs less than a dollar. On to the last book, Orchids Are Forever. This last books was supposed to tie up loose ends. It didn't for most of the time it made no sense. How was Jonathan able to do everything that he did? Some things were inexplicable apparently even to the author. The editing didn't get any better. It was difficult to follow at times with missing words, misused or misspelled words and other grammatical errors. These books/novellas could have been so much better with fully developed plots, more back stories on the characters but most of all a competent editor.

The story and plot of the book was intriguing. It kept me on edge and guessing. The editing and grammar were horrible. I felt like getting a red pen and making corrections. It was not just an occasional misspelling. It was rampant throughout the book. Tenses were all over the place. Samuda, turn on spell check and get another editor.

Good Story Enjoyed this box set. Characters were well developed and thought out. Story was fast paced and interesting. Kept me guessing until the end. All questions were answered. Really enjoyed this book. Recommend for all.

I loved it!! I loved it. These are some weird characters. Some people just can't handle rejection. Not being able to accept rejection can be a good thing or a bad thing.
