Recommend reading. I received an ARC of this book and this is my own honest voluntary review.

Apple-achian Treasure, my eighth read from author P.D. Workman. Extremely well written, the best in the series so far, the characters well developed building on the first books in the series. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book and now by the eighth book in the series you already know the characters and can appreciate the continued growth of th Apple-achian Treasure, my eighth read from author P.D. Erin has reopened her gluten-free bakery with her sister as co-owner. Working with her sister proves a little challenging. Erin decides to look through her inherited genealogical materials and discovers a treasure may exist. She decides to use her spare time to treasure hunt. She tries to keep the search for gold quiet, but as well all know that never works. Soon everyone is searching and trouble steps into the picture. Interesting story and characters. Enjoy!

Normally, I do Pros, Cons, & a bottom line. This one is short & sweet. All pros, no cons. The best thing I can say is that I have been extremely sick for 10 plus weeks now. The only time I have been able to forget the pain I'm in was when I'd become engrossed in this book. So, thank you P.D. Workman for the great escape of this story. I received an ARC of this book. This review is voluntary.

I really like this cozy mystery series! Erin finds an old poem, perhaps leading to a golden treasure. The writing is fresh and skillful. The plot is tight and multi-layered, and the characters are well drawn and believable. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.

As the other books in the series, a very well written story, with excellent characters and believable dialogue. This is what it sets out to be: a cozy mystery. There is also some suspense, and this makes for good entertainment.

Another superb story. Humour mixed with mystery to make a fabulous read. Erin tries hard to work with her new partner for the Bakery. To keep herself sane, she still does her detective work. Don’t miss out.

This is a fun, easily readable book in the Auntie Clem's bakery. Instead of finding bodies, Erin is in search of treasure - gold. But it appears that someone else is also looking for the golden treasure. There may be danger, and there certainly is intrigue. I'm enjoying the series, even though I jumped in with book 7. Well written and very enjoyable.
