I requested a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I will undoubtedly be denied as I do not have an ALA # (I am Canadian!). I am reviewing the book anyway on Goodreads and Facebook. #yourloss :-) AND because I love to cook and bake at home. I had already read it via KindleUnlimited as my job revolves around healthy food, researching food/recipes, food deserts, community kitchens (so everything about food) AND literacy/getting people to read n I requested a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Become a baking "cannaisseur" with the guidance of this cannabis cookbook. Personal opinion ... should someone who is stoned really be using kitchen appliances and cooking with heat and an oven? No. Popsicles, maybe ... beyond that no. Baked goods that kids can get into? No. Baked goods that get served at book club as a joke? TRIPLE NO! I guess the recipes could be used as non-pot by leaving out the cannabis but by the end of the book I was 10000% sure about one thing: pot does not belong in edibles. Ever. Go ahead and smoke it or vape it or take it in pill form: don't make a potentially lethal piece of food that someone else can get into. Good recipes and even base recipes The biggest problem with most cannabis cookbooks is that they tell you to use things like "cannabutter" or "cannaoil" but they don't tell you how to make THOSE base things! This book DOES give you recipes on how to make the basic building blocks. And the main recipes are great too!
