| A tripus is the stuff of nightmares: three long grasping tentacles, one all seeing eye, and a razor sharp beak. One (or possibly several) of these creatures stalks the city of Florist. RJParker has turned the morality of eating practically anything on its head, questioning the rights of vegetarians, pescatarians, and fungitarians to eat guilt free. The reader will come away from this novel with an appetite only for rocks (though that subject may be covered in a sequel). May the Giver (if she exists) be with you. |
